People and access
Recruitment, vetting where appropriate, codes of conduct, supervision and access controls should reflect programme risk.
Reporting
Participants and workers should have safe routes to raise concerns, with urgent risks escalated promptly.
Confidentiality
Safeguarding information should be handled on a need-to-know basis while allowing necessary reporting and protection action.
Non-retaliation
People who raise concerns in good faith should not be punished for doing so.
